Brendan turned up looking quite ill, and then struggled with not actually being quite ill right in front of us, so he was a late scratching. Laura was running late but still ran on time. Dan ran home on Friday night quite drunk. During the race, i got worried when i saw someone collapsed by the side of the road and what thought i were vultures, but they turned out to be pigeons. The claim of a scenic route was somewhat an over sell as i just kept looking at all the people overtaking me. And i really hated that guy with the pram on the bridge.
